When this process fits

CNC milling is a good route for parts with pockets, slots, flat faces, mounting features and multi-side machining requirements. It is commonly used for fixture plates, equipment brackets, optical mounts, sensor housings and automation blocks.

What buyers should prepare

  • 3D CAD files for geometry review.
  • A 2D drawing for critical tolerances, threads, surface finish and datum references.
  • Material grade, surface finish preference and target quantity.

How OEMach reviews the RFQ

The engineering review checks setup access, tool reach, wall thickness, internal corner radii and inspection points. Final capability depends on geometry, material, finish and quantity.
